bird stone Preform
I found this stone this past sporting and just haven't posted it here yet. Thought you escorts here might enjoy checking it out. I know its not a finished artifact but in all the collections I have seen I have never seen a preform of a bird stone.the head has been broken off in the field but I view this stone as a valuable study piece. It's really neat to see what they started with and how they worked on a stone to get to something as magnificent as a finished bird stone.
