        Strangely enough I just watched the program earlier today on our local PBS station. Good show and some good work being done to preserve and study the sites. Well worth the time to watch.

          It was on one of our PBS affiliates at 1 pm Sunday, forgot and missed it, found it online and watched it. Then I remembered our good friend chase has found some of these, and had posted a thread about those he had found.

        Great old post, nothing like that here, dead wood rots in a few years with the gulf moisture, seen the circles though, maybe 50 or so on a flat hill top, a site to see for sure

          Now that is really neat information. Not knowing anything else I would have thought modern or bigfoot. It's hard to imagine those white bark trees being old enough to support the structure around them though. I can understand the Juniper stands being old enough.
