Cahokia mounds is one of the coolest archaeology sites in North America. I first saw Cahokia on the Native America documentary on PBS. I was memorized. Since then, I have been fascinated with those little Cahokia points excavated at the mounds. Here is an article with some background on the site, and the rest are some amazing pictures of artifacts discovered there.

I wonder if they ever matched DNA with Myan or Aztec remains . The whole sacrifice ritual was part of their beliefs .
Awesome is right Ethan I really enjoyed this post .
Those points are very detailed and I wonder if that had anything to do with caffeine .
It does fascinate me the difference of the point from the west to the East . It’s just seems even Co, Tex have some of those very detailed not crude stone points .

The last clip with the speaker kind of reminds me of Rasyer island . People had used up the resources trees etc which led to no wildlife . Then the rampage I would imagine started for computing of food and really life . Why should they be a slave all their life to feed the elite . With their skills they could take off and live 100 miles away under no ruler . Makes you think .
