Here where I live is a huge agriculture valley and they farm potatoes big time. We started digging on the harvest full moon and the first day in the fields I found this nice local lithics one inch knife. [gave it to the landowners wife]
The early peoples have been around here for at least 10K years and a cool story about them is that my farmer friend who's my age[old] has had the same Navajo family working for him as did his father back in the day... almost two generations. There's still a strong connection to "the people" in the southwest.
