thought I posted this ...guess I didn’t.....method I use ...quick version...slap plaster of Paris on missing part,,,,when dry ,break off,,,glue back on ,,carve flaking ( if pottery,,design ) take same glue ( duco ) and acetone mix ...put on several lite coats ( this way it soaks into plaster and hardens it ) ..paint with watercolors ...final lite coats,,,,this is where you make final important adjustments to color and shine...watercolors tend to turn darker...adjust,,,control shine by using straight acetone,,( less shine ) more duco ( more shine) ....pottery is same. but different,,,,have fun guys,,gals,,,boys n,,girls..this is my total control method....if you use epoxy you’ll probably get into trouble...this method is for folks who are not going to make a living doing it examples of knives I just couldn’t put in the broke box.....no. 1 was broken across the middle...(never saw anything like this point ) ....no.2 was broken 1 1/2” down from tip pottery is different and this is a very easy cotrolable method of restoring....main thing be determined.fla.boy.
