For the Old Timers out there!

I found this today hiking the backwoods of NC. I know they'll be a day when I can't do what I can now. My dad is almost 90, so I hope to have a few more days left, but this one is for all the former hunters like my dad who shine bright like veined quartz.

Thanks Carolina. We call this material Banded candy Quartz. Yours is a beauty. My dad is also 90, Bad legs and I love him. I really tried to get him out hunting one more time this spring. Had a site I could drive him right into the field. I was going to stay right by his side and hope he would find one last point. Sad to say he couldn't make it, his legs hurt too much. So we planned for another day. Now I have that field to myself, so no one else hunts it. 3 days later someone got there before my and hunted it clean. Rat's. Kim

Man what a looker that is. I'm feeling my age this year myself. My mind says you can do it but after a few hours my body says you're done for today. I'm trying to stain my new deck this week and its tough. Cant last more than 4 hours. Looks like a real dandy of a find, let's see it cleaned up.
