    Interesting there are so many different designs in ancient pottery. Amazing that they took time to do these decorations. I wonder if they did this to help Identify who owns the pot at potluck Sunday? LOL Just kidding. Thanks for sharing Johnny very cool pottery.

      Would love to find more of it here. Only one site and only a handful of quarter to half dollar pieces.

          Either fingernails or a tiny prehistoric horse...no really that is probably as close as one could get to ancient NA fingerprints...nice pieces

            Actually Matt you are on to something. Like signatures in a culture with no written language, each pottery piece reflected the "name" of the individual. Women put their signatures on pottery, weaving, bead work, & knapping.
