  • Photos of bow with specifications

The snakeskin bow is Hickory, was painted camouflage and I took paint off and put the snake skin on it, it was the second bow I made and I hunted with it for several years until I made the other bow in other photos. Hickory bow is 58" and 45Lb. at 26" Looks like one limb could be a little weaker than the upper but I retired it and put the skin on it

This is the bow I use most now, it is an Osage orange bow that was made from an old dinner bell post that had the bell on it for many years. It had really big growth rings and were easy to follow making the bow. The piece was thick enough to split it and make twin bows. I always wanted to make a snake bow and this one had some nice curves in it. It is also 58" and the draw weight is about same as other bow. I don't put arrow rest on my bows and shoot off my hand, this makes you pay more attention to the arrows you make.

There should be two photos, it did something strange when I posted it and the Hickory bow with the primitive arrow should be showing.
