  • Swiftcreek pottery

Found lots of Swiftcreek pottery today . It’s usually the complicated stamp that you can look up on our AH link to
peach tree archeology . But this was the most unusual find we have ever found . Only shards but one was so distinctive .
the other were not the usual swirls . There was a part of s sun
and another design . Very unusual for this camp .

Thank the lord for those pieces . Wayne is a pottery hound .
He will want to go back and I can look for points . I am going to dig . It’s on a hunt lease so I can . I found some on our property 2 days ago but no design . So we thought hmmm have to study that because it all has designs .
Greg one lady found a whole pot years ago .
I found where they get the clay . Under about 8 in of sand is
gray clay . I tried to open a spring .
