Spoon Like Ladle Pottery Piece

This is another piece that I thought was a feeder of some sort but larger than the earlier post.


This one has a little indent where it makes it easier to hold and pour possibly. Looks like the same type clay as the small one. Looks like traces of paint when viewing the bottom. I haven't tried removing the dirt as I didn't want to take away any paint. I will some day when things slow down a bit!

That one is a bit large for a ladle but it could be called a gourd effigy bowl. Again, probably from the SW and further south.
