  • More Swiftcreek pottery ( small sherds )

I have some real beautiful designs I’ll try to upload later
Everything is small but the detail is great .

Very beautiful pieces from what I can see! That must have been really complicated to make.

Quit teasing us Tam and find enough pieces to make a whole pot! The design work is beautiful.

Luv the Swift Creek Stamped stuff Tam - I'd be diggin' a hole for it (although at a gingerly pace..)

The Florida Museum actually has a S.C.S. pottery database, but I couldn't make heads or tails out of it

I actually have a beautiful book from Wiljoe ( Johnny )
and do look at every clip I can find . My new thing is identifying what I think are the tools that made the wooden paddle stamps along with what the patterns are . I have some strong large quartzite engravers and some cool little tools . I post them sometimes .
its a fun deal for me and yes we have gone out there to dig . Found a fire pit and under that some older archaic stem point bases . Guess who does the best digs for us ? Armadillos then a rain... heaven 😇
