Picked up a nice little shoto figure at a collectible show here in Portland. They are very localized to this area and not very well known outside my area but one of my favorite artifacts. Thanks for the look

Even though your on the west coast there are similar pieces to the south . Just another name has been placed by modern man . I actually found a knife on that link that explains a find I have thank you for that .
Cant you see what a beautiful area that would have been for the NA’s to live . You are there surrounded by it . Do you find many artifacts along the rivers ?

It’s certainly a paradise in many ways and I can see it being so for NA people. There are still a lot around the area that enjoy it to this day thankfully. Hunting artifacts here is a touchy subject. I only hunt private land and most of the rivers are off limits unfortunately
