Photo no. 1 is reconstructed Weeden Island vessel with punctations below a rolled rim, it’s 11x6”it was recovered from site 8P-162 in pinellas co. Florida, in 1972...2 Is a partial W.I.vessel with incised line’s below the rim, it is 9”high....3, this one was found by a local, it was found off site P162 towards the shell mounds, it doesn’t have a ceremonial look, and it doesn’t have a kill hole....4 is a nice incised rim and body piece, it’s 5” wide....5 shows sherds ready to be assembled... 6 are other examples.... I mainly elected to show these cuzz of the designs, most of these sherds are 3-4” or larger, anything under that on a partial restoration eats up too much time, I just use plaster....For anyone interested in W.I. stuff these are great teaching tools...
