    This is a Carrabelelle punctuated bowl, it is 9” wide...Carrabelle ware is sand tempered, I haven’t looked at this one in a while but I believe it’s a fingernail impressed one, punctations on these are made by various other means... It’s a middle Woodland, Weeden Island piece and considered by some to be the first of the W.l.decorated types...It’s range is the Gulf Coast, from Cedar Key’s to Appalachicola to central Alabama and Georgia....P.S. I always liked this piece like it is,
