          That's a great surprise. When I look at your pottery pieces, it really makes me wonder if I have seen pottery pieces. I always think the pieces are broken rhyolite , I don't know, lol. But the pipe is outstanding!

                That is cool, can you see the seam on the front of pipe, or is there a makers mark on it? It looks like one of the Kaolin pipes made across the Atlantic around Bristol, but I think they find a decent number of Dutch examples along some parts of the East Coast.

                    Here's a tool used to date colonial pipes by the diameter of the stem bore. Drill bits inserted into a block of wood: the larger the hole, the older the pipe is.
