        I think its cord marked but I will work on it a bit more. Thanks, I guess Hal hasn't seen it yet

            Glenn I think you are right about the cord .
            it’s pretty worn on that design so hard to tell .
            If those are circles in the center I would go with stamped but if not your correct to guess cord .
            incised pottery seems to be more brushed looking .
            Glenn your holding it can you see cord impressions I have been able to see what looks like rope / cord impressions when it is cord .

                Not sure yet Tam letting it dry out some more then I will brush it off some with a soft brush. Algae needs to dry can't do a wet wash to remove it
