    This vessel was found in pinellas county in 72

    It’s an 8” tall W.I.red piece with an embellished rim..Four equally spaced nodes can be seen on the rim with a punctated triangle in the center of each...

    It’s a restoration..The reason for the difference in color and texture is the scattering of sherds In different soil conditions...Leaving some in good condition, others not so good and still others left in the ground...

    Many of the designs on native pottery were influenced by gourds and this one is no exception..

        You sure it wasn't influenced by a vehicle cup holder?

        Nice job on the restoration. I can't imagine putting something together like that.
