    This one isn't the highest on the eye candy index, but the cubes are the thing. They are pseudomorphs after chabazite,,, hydrated calcium aluminum silicate. At the size they are in an egg is unheard of.

The sharp dividing lines between lighter and darker areas in the face is an optical effect called shadow or parallax, resulting from the closeness of finely sized fortification banding.                           All I can say is Wow!! What a beautiful and diverse collection! I grew up in Alamogordo, and spent a lot of time in Deming and Silver City growing up.
