Pulled my old childhood rock collection out of my cedar chest. I kept these rocks because I thought they looked like they might be petrified wood. Are they? If so, just the bark...no cross section to view.

Thank you Tom. Sorry it took awhile before I was able to get end-on pics. I’ll attach end pic of the larger piece (first pic) and some additional pictures of one of the smaller pieces in the 2nd picture. Not much to see though. To me, just looks like pieces of bark attached to sandstone.Attached FilesComment
