I was told by a couple folks that these items are orehistiric agatized fossilized coral. I found it on our property about a mile from the Suwannee river. It was all whole and solid with the exception of a few pieces, but curiosity got the best of me and I halved a few pieces with a masonry cutting disk on my angle grinder. Anyone have more info about these

@38-25 Million years old, Oligocene-Miocene, Hawthorn Group Suwannee limestone. Unsure of species. it's "Chalcedony Pseudomorph After Coral" lol.Last edited by tomclark; 08-24-2019, 08:40 AM.Professor Shellman

Wow!! Thank you Tom. Sorry, I'm just replying. I've, been soo busy I haven't been online much... What amazing info. My kids are going bananas over the fact that we have 50 million yr old fossils in our possession. I've found about 15 pieces since this post. Most as big as a cantaloupe. Just beautiful stuff.
