This is a most amazing find. I've never seen anything like it before. If you look closely there is the outline of what looks to be a perfect clovis point design. True to size and shape. The stone itself is a very porus sandstone and not at all of appropriate quality to make an arrowhead of any sort. I wondered if it was a kind of 'template' that the indians may have used in teaching proper size and technique for making the arrowhead. I think it's just amazing. Thoughts?

        Welcome to AH.com Anna :welcome:
I am sorry but I have to agree with Charlie. This is not an artifact.
Templates were not an item used in Native American cultures.~

I combined both posts since it is the same rock. Weather you think its an Etley or a Clovis "Template"  it is just a rock. I will leave this in this category for the time being so others can weigh in on what they think it may be. But soon if the consensus is Natural rock I will move this thread into "Rocks Mistaken For Artifacts"
          Thanks for sharing.
