I do not see use wear nor any efforts to shape the stone nor incidental reshaping due to use.... Here are some images of the roughed surfaces of hammerstones. It takes a while to acclimate to seeing actual work surfaces among stray rocks, but stick with it and best of luck hunting!

Would depend on context where it was found. Need to see pics of the size to show whether there is any use wear.

Found near the Brazos river, but it is pretty smooth, I'm thinking river rock......thanks for the quick response!
