From what I can see, it look's possible. Can I see a picture of the whole thing?

Well, it could possibly be a piece of material, but I don’t see any evidence of it being knapped into a chipped axe or chopper or of being used. Most NA axes were pecked and ground into shape and had a groove or notches to haft it to a handle.
