  • Artifact or not?

This stone seems a bit strange, also it looks un-finished. I am not sure if this is an arrowhead or not.

It is an inch and 1/2 long and 1/2 inch wide at its widest point.

Nice color has damage at one end and like jj said probably a flake knife but if no edge work is present then its just going to be a flake.

Ditto, but that’s some killer flint, when you find an arrowhead at that site it’s gonna be a beauty.

It's a waste flake. A percussion flake from the knapping process. As such it is an ancient artifact. The majority of ancient artifacts are waste flakes. I don't see anything that would lead me to believe that it was used as a tool.

The edges look like they were worked on.

I don't see any intentional edge work in your photos. Perhaps if you could take a closeup with good focus I might change my opinion. At this point all I see is chatter nicks.
