Just showing a piece of chert that has some natural creek chatter on it. Nice example of Mother Nature hard at work. Wet picture then same piece dry.

Can't tell you how many pieces I pick up and have to think "is that just chatter?" One bad thing about creek hunting.

Sometimes I think there is actual work that then gets beat up in the creek. Those pieces will really confused you.
