Found in residential yard in Laramie County, Wyoming. It's very large. I don't know how to categorize this: hammer, anvil, wedge, end-pick or just a chipped up rock?
5 faceted basalt with scars/chips on the larger two sides. The 'top' facet fits easily into my palm and seems shaped to fit.
Sharpie pictured is 13.7cm or 5.4in.
