      The shape sure gets attention but I can't see any flaking. Also. I think it may be a pretty soft sedimentary stone. I'm thinking it is not an artifact but I'm not 100 percent.

        iotla217, if I were standing in front of that pile of rocks, there are two I would take a closer look at, to make sure they aren’t a gouge or adze. These are probably nothing, but just to rule that out maybe you’d want to take a picture from the angles of the arrows that would show any sharpening along the ends they are pointing toward. Also, to keep the responses cleanly associated with the right pieces, It’s best if you post a find like this in a separate topic from other posters (and describe how you found them, in a field, creek, your yard, etc.)
