  • Massage Stone or something else?

    Stopped by a resale shop and found this Stone. Looks like The Granite Hardstone used for Axes out here. Its very smooth.

    Well josh , I am not really sure .... But if u could get it scoped that would be your best way to  determine weather or not it has bean modified by man or not .... Just to hard to tell by pics

      I agree with Everett that it's hard to say. Does it have any relic pecking visible? If I found it on the beach here, it would just be a beach cobble. You might have needed to find it in a better context to have a better idea.

        I'm with Charlie, live near Lake Michigan and rocks like that are not uncommon. Without context ???

            I like to keep them no matter what they are.  I find quite a few of them in a good campsite
            I hunt.  I throw them in a pile, just in case.  If I ever build my own fireplace,  they're going
