ID:	410061 Went down my river spot ...freezing rain...nasty...found this cool rim sherd ...I knew I had another piece...found a year ago ...so I held em near each other and they "clicked"together... Couple thousand year old pieces of pottery ...seems like it's shell tempered ....I was due to find something.....

Hey Ethan. Thanks.....it's not a difference in patina....when this RIM sherd dries out in a couple days it will look identical I'm sure.....it's saturated soaking wet from being in the river and mud for many many many years.....1or 2 thousand maybe....who knows ..I tried looking up the type on the CT. Archaeological surveys for NA CLAY POTTERY AND ITS MIND BOGGLING ON THE DIFF TYPES ...I'll get a pic of it in a couple days to show ya
