Finally...... my first dovetail...✌️

Took a ride this afternoon to see if my prime field got tilled up, during the past week.. a little disappointed, it hasn’t been touched yet.. I’ve been eyeballing another adjoining property for the last few years, never met the guy. Stopped in several times, spoke to his brother, his girlfriend.. he’s never been around. Tonight, I finally saw him outside and asked for permission to search his property.help yourself, he said. Just call, or text me ahead , for I know you’re in there.I asked if I could spend a hour or two in there tonight... his response “ go ahead” after about 45 minutes I found this sweet dovetail,... my first ever, just laying on the surface.. no in-situation and poor pics.... I haven’t even put a dent in this property... vacation times coming up, I’ll be back...✌️

Awesome Up North! I swear to you, this is the truth....I belong to a group of both Carolinas and Virginia artifact hunters and someone was posting today that they hoped they would find a Dovetail one day because they had never found one. Someone else posted it won't be found here in SC. I thought, I bet Up North finds those in Minnesota, lol.
