ID:	575185 I started late today walked 2 hours and was soaking wet from sweat. Found one little pretty one and thought I had another hidden in the gravel but was just a faker. I only brought one drink bottle so I decided to take off. Little Woodland dart point most likely. Very frame worthy Click image for larger version Name:	BC68D67C-56DF-4532-A9B6-2457D9651AF8.jpeg Views:	0 Size:	62.8 KB ID:	575181Click image for larger version Name:	118F2450-7888-4B39-A23B-EB8D4F9E2414.jpeg Views:	0 Size:	71.8 KB ID:	575182Click image for larger version Name:	BE3A63EF-723A-41AE-A146-A3F7DDB2D817.jpeg Views:	0 Size:	222.5 KB ID:	575183Click image for larger version Name:	1C242D75-3DCB-4A1D-89F4-E48944EC1231.jpeg Views:	0 Size:	77.0 KB ID:	575184

Ty I figured I’d leave on a high note instead of looking all day and probably not find anything else

Cool, looks like ft Payne chert. Nothing like running out of water to drink; happens more to me than I care to mention.

Chert is very high quality doesn’t look like it spent much time in the creek I did find it higher than normal. Found my last one last week on the same bar. But Other was close to the water

Cherokees in North Georgia very tall. (Read that, and also my 25% Cherokee Dad 6’2”…🤗)

Cherokee were tall but there were other tribes in my area called Creek Indians. I bet they were very short different tribes

I believe the Creek were documented as being taller on average at time of contact compared to their European counterparts. Maybe I’m wrong but I don’t believe there is any correlation between height of maker to size of point. Plains tribes were thought to be some of the tallest people in the world but used tiny “bird points” to kill buffaloes.
