Days are growing shorter and the leaves have already started to fall a little. Time is ticking. Managed to get a hunt in and found three thumb/end scrappers and the years best faker. A reminder to pick up and examine those flakes. Thought all of these were just debitage at first glance. The first one shown is little but a lot going on. First, great quality black Coshocton. Uniface side has platform strike, bulb, bubar scar and reverse wave termination that makes a prefect lip for the thumb scarper. Top side has great lip flaking with a bonus side scraper thrown in. Love it. The second artifact looked like a natural little nodule flake. Half of it is heavily worked. The last artifact looks like a water worn scraper. Lastly, thought for sure I had found a little Adena until I picked it up and realized it was just a rock. Mudstone I think. Faker hall of fame.
