ID:	587795 Made it back to the cornfield this morning after bow hunting this morning… may have picked up my best point of the year.
I haven’t put a certain type to it yet. 2 7/8” long, some oblique parallel flaking on both sides and a lenticular cross section, one side is flatter… back to the tree stand till dark, nothing was moving this morning…😁

Ha… you’re right, better than a trophy buck.. I spent more time looking for arrowheads than deer today.. will likely do the same tomorrow…👍

Thanks all… I may never put a certain type on this one.. the bottom of the base doesn’t help… Cody complex point is what I’m calling it….👍

Can't go wrong with that ID. That break on the base kinda pts a kink in ID. One fine find.

Rebased tip would be my guess. Cody Complex people usually reworked the base to thin it out a bit, so maybe something archaic or later found a nice tip out of nice material and "stemmed" it?

Patina looks consistent.. would one see a difference if this was the case?
