    That's a neat piece.  I'd call it a waisted stem Clovis that suffered a massive impact fracture and was salvaged into a knife.  Some people call them Hazel variety, or Ross County varieties.  The link is an example found in Texas.

    If it's from the Ozark part of Oklahoma the material might be Reed or Pierson chert, they can have that greenish tint sometimes.

                    I was riding through my pasture where I have found a few points in gopher mounds on my way to fish. Glancing down whenever I would pass some and there it was laying out fully exposed. I stopped picked it up did a happy dance and went fishing. Caught some nice fish too.

                      Im totally lost here? The original posts are from over 5 years ago yet there are a bunch of responses from today? Am i missing something? Is this a new find and the dates are goofy?

                        Some of the photos were wrong when i discovered that i corrected the pictures and made a new post. That brought it back to the top in posts today.
