  • First Hafted Scraper

    Well I believe this is my first repurposed point! This artifact is made from Knox chert and is a NC mountains find. It looks like a Kirk base but I'm not so sure. The Appalachian summit region has a lot of look alikes. Good luck out there everyone! Click image for larger version

        It does look like it.
        Also looks like it has suffered either impact fracture or some serious torque.

            Nice one there Sugaree. Now that is something that I find a lot of in my area...not this spring though
