I haven't been getting out much lately, but I've managed a few lucky finds. A while back I found three small quartz points from a pond site that I get to search when the water is low. I'm pretty happy with the small rossville, this is a type I rarely come across, and it's a nice one. Just last weekend I got out with Metacom and found a broken quartz triangle and a ryolite point that I believe to be either a fox creek or a greene. Either way, it's another type I seldom find, and I'll happily add it to my collection.

Nice. Yeah, I would go with Greene on the rhyolite point. That type has never showed up much on the sites I walked, either.Rhode Island

Charlie, the point on the right is the one I mentioned in my comment to your post. I remember thinking at the time that it was a greene. Looking at it now, next to the newly found one, I'm sure that it's the same type. I found it about 4 years ago at a reservior in Massachusetts.
Thanks for your insight.
