  • Same creek similarities

These are the best I have from one spot I call Hail Mary creek. Success rate is very low but when it produces I love the result. I think these are all from the same era. Top and right were found this past weekend. Click image for larger version Name:	227227C2-E0F0-4EEA-9320-271BE0F4602A.jpeg Views:	1 Size:	69.1 KB ID:	272191

Yea I definitely think Kirk. I think the larger one is closest I’ve come to a lost lake. No bevels on any of these

There isn’t a lot of creek to walk at this time of year. I’m basically walking a foot wide swatch of ground where higher water has removed some leaves. If I had the whole rock bar to view there is no way I find that one like it was

Love those finds! Looks like you might have found Kirk creek to me! Thanks for sharing!

Oh wow! Those are beauties! My only Kirk is so water worn, it looks exhausted compared to yours. Congrats!

Looks like a dandy bunch of Kirk corner notches to me. They are in good shape considering how old they are. Congratulations.

Cool to see that these Indians were either well traded or well traveled. 2 of the 4 are Kentucky rock, one is Ohio, one is native to wv.

If the sand is in the creek and has a clay base, you might find some pockets in the clay and this is where artifacts are trapped.
