I was 14-15, and had bought a fake Clovis and fake Folsom a couple of years earlier. Both made by Marvin McCormick. But, I had found my first real point by then as well....

Well, folks, I was 22 years old then and had a few points but didn't have a clue as to how they were made. It took me another 5 years after I got more involved into collecting that I started to learn what you posted, Greg. So thanks for the memories.

I wasn't quite a twinkle in my parents eyes in 1962, since I was born in 1972! That was pretty cool. I didn't figure that stuff out till about 15 years ago. Thanks for sharing.😀

Well I was picking up points in the lakes around Mich with my toes .. 8 and throwing at my brother .
hate that story because I threw the points away .
But good times with my brother .
I do remember everything was a dark flint though . I collected
rocks back then .
You know I notice the 1960’s to 1980’s seems to be the mass write ups on NA artifacts . Some before some after .
and yes that is way cool .
