Nice finds dude! That tool is a multipurpose chopper. Ive found a bunch in different sizes, almost all of them are Attleboro Red like yours is too, though I have a few that are quartz.thats a nice one!call me Jay, i live in R.I.Comment

Right on bud. This tool style comes in different sizes and weights, some were hafted some hand held, heck some might’ve even been whacked on the back end with a mallet and used like a chisel, I got a larger sized one with damage on both ends that would been too bulky to haft and I’m guessing was used in that manner.
