like many others, I’ve found that sometimes you just get lucky. Walking back to the truck one night in mass, I pulled a 4 point comeback after finding absolutely nothing for hours. Which is ok with me, but to have this comeback was incredible. I found a quartz triangle sitting face up... took an insitu and kept on walking, I saw a shell in the dirt that looked like a quartz triangle, so I went to look at it. 3 inches from the shell was my first ever argillite wading river! A very happy find. Continuing in this row, I find a Rose quartz wading river, another happy find. And I round the evening out with some sort of argillite knife. It was a great ending to a very memorable hunt.

nice finds, the trick is never stop looking. one of my top finds came as i was stepping out of the creek, i looked down and laying right at the waters edge was a prehistoric oyster shell and laying inside the shell was a point shinning like a gem pearl.Comment
