      It was found in Burleson County Texas. I am from a small town called Somerville in the same county.

        Hey Cody, Congrats on a great find man. That thing is awesome. I have a lot of Texas chert but don't think I have any that color. Can you tell me what the lithic material is?

          I am not a lithics expert but I would say if I had to guess its river cobble it seems pretty consistent with most of the points we find around here.here is another picture to put it in perspective.

            take a picture outside indirect daylight gives the best color for shooting pctures . Sweet find Cody I saw your other post. Maybe Jess Bone2Stone will see it and chme in. I will check my refrence materal on Texas points and get back with you soon.

                      If it were a Missouri find I'd call it a Hardin barbed. Not sure what it types as down your way though. It is certainly a showcase centerpiece.
