    Found new Yadkin in South East Georgia, 1.750" long, ears broke but I don't find a lot of Yadkins and this one is serrated and even broke it is worth a photo also a quartz Morrow Mountain. Click image for larger version

            Johnny , I cannot believe that yadkin . Don’t you love the teeth . It’s so unusual for our area . Crazy fun lithic .

                      Cool points! That yadkin looks maybe unused to me. The fine serrations are a site to behold and not easy to accomplish at that size and spacing. This knapper knew what they were doing... Thanks for sharing!

                        I was thinking the point was shot on arrow and the ears broke off in what ever it hit and the archer did not recover it, my thoughts and anything was possible. The yadkins I find are raw chert and that is some tough stuff to knap that small

                      I have one Yadkin and the serrations on this type are impressive. Even used the serrations stay crisp & sharp. Nice specimen regardless of the broken ear, Johnny.
                      Of course I'm rather fond of that quartz MM too.
