  • Sunday Funday in Central Ga

We've had perfect weather for artifact hunting in Georgia the past few days and decided to get out again this morning and see what I could find. Found a broken tip bird point, broken drill, the 3rd broken square knife I've found at this location and what I want to call a Kirk Serrated point. Someone correct me if I'm wrong on type. Some really cool material on the whole point. In-situ video attached below as well.

In our area we don't find a lot of square knives, I would think perform or trade blank with a tip with point on it. Some nice finds.

Your killing me .. I left the dust bowl and now there was rain yesterday again .
yes nice Kirk . I found what I thought was a mid section of a square knife but was corrected and out of the zone . From my material I think a type of chisel . If it’s tough enough it’s some type of tool or like Johnny said trade piece .
