  • One of my better days

I usually find one or two artifacts on a typical hunting trip. However, I found all of these within the first hour. I used to go hunting with my dad in this field - but he passed away this past Christmas. I like to think he had something to do with this haul. It's a shame Mr. Plow got to #5 (from L to R) - he looks really nice when backlit.

Three days later I found this guy in the same field.

Awesome Finds! Sometimes the plow can work against ya but it can help ya find some cool artifacts as well. That’s what I would call a good hunting day there!

I took a few more photos (see thread post #10) - do they help with identification in your opinion?

Was a good day. I think Dad was looking over your shoulder. Agree on that 4th point, it's an older one.

willjo, Jethro355, & Lindenmeier-Man - I attached a couple more pics (closer up). Does that help? My photography skills (and equipment) aren't very good. I'm curious what you guys think about that one. Can you give any more thoughts on it? I appreciate it!

Not sure if you have them in your area but it looks a lot like a Hardaway Dalton, old and neat point
