  • Two spring points

I recently found two nice points! Massachusetts finds! I believe the types are a Merrimack made out of quartzite. The deep patina is the giveaway for the age of the point.

The second point is a fox fox creek stemmed knife, which sadly has seen its fair share of dings. Oddly enough I had a vision of finding a rhyolite point in my head prior to the hunt when I woke up this morning. Sometimes I will try to predict a point that I may find that day, and often will make my hunting partner laugh with my ridiculous predictions of things we are not likely to find.

But today somehow it came through!
Can’t find em sitting on the couch; unless it’s in a field
