Just one of those days!

So I have to admit that arrowhead hunting can be a pretty feast and famine type of an experience. Some days you don’t find squat, and other days you find several. I am pretty much a surface hunter as I have yet to figure out the whole good place to dig idea. So given that, many times I find a single decent point and then a couple of brokers, and that’s what I would consider a good day! I am always jealous of seeing some of the posts where folks have found multiples in the same location or at least on the same hunt! Well this past Saturday I finally had “one of those days”. I was in a small feeder creek that I have been in many times, but we have had a few high water events recently in central Missouri, so I thought it was worth a shot. I found all three pieces on the same gravel bar in less than an hour! Let’s just say there was quite the happy dance that took place the next hour!

All 3 are killers you did very well. I’m liking that creek stain . I almost jumped in the creek today cause it was so hot but I haven’t had a good creek hunt like you have in a long time. I wonder how many more are just under the surface and along the shallow water waiting on you
