  • finally got one.

It has been awhile since i have gotten out and all my sights are either grown up or built on now but i still have a few slim areas to look at in some places. I have been missing that little rush of discovering a piece and man I swear I have had withdraws. I found what I thought at first was a orient or fish spear is what there called here in Va but now I am thinking its in the Savannah River family. I wish the tip would have been there but I cant complain.

I second the Savannah River cluster...that vein quartz lecroy means that there are some oldies at that site!

I have to admire the ancients ability to knap that beautiful quartz.
