  • A stone celt.

    This stone Celt is from Cedar Key , Levy country, Florida. This piece is a flared bit celt it is 5 3/4”inch long and is fashioned from a dense hard stone, I don’t think it’ greenstone.       That's a nice one I have a couple whole ones I've found and of course some broken pieces. Its amazing how hard the stone is that they shaped for their Celts. Also the polish still on them
