Had a pile of kids on Sunday and they found some nice stuff. The girls found a nice pick wick/ Adena looking point and another girl found a old dart/arrow type point both were their first points and they are itching to go back so I’ll have a pile of kiddos tomorrow for another dig. Found a carbonized acorn nut half , a couple antler tips quite a few triangles the whole one was translucent . Couple antler tips. What is still a very sharp sandstone awl tool. Also a real nice scraper . Lots of pottery shards too, bone fragments and shell ect. I’m behind on my posting. No more nutting stones or tool caches. My son found a grinding slab off in one corner just sitting on the surface near sleeping areas. I’ve got another round to post from today after I clean em up.

Will keep on digging. Gonna go today with 4 kids 2 seven year olds 1 .ten years old and 1. 13 year old . The oldest girl is real interested in archeology this will be her 3 time with me. We found lots of carbonized acorns yesterday. Probably have at least 30 and saw that many or more that I didn’t collect on the screen. They must have dried and peeled already and went bad so they threw them in the fire. At first I thought might be from a goat but there aren’t no have been any here. The more I started to find the more I knew they were acorns . I found 1 on Sunday and didn’t really know what it was until after I found all these. We nicknamed them turdites here’s a pic with a bunch on the rocks
