      I was so bummed I walked the left side first didn't even see a flake. Right side was very different.

    Thats a stellar point. Was going to say the ear looks worked that way. Kirk cluster I'm guessing.

      Found it's skinny brother up here last summer. Similar looking black material, same thinning base strikes and flaking. Old and well made. Hard to beat. Great find.

    Outstanding point ( one of my favorite base types, hard to come by here).. I can just visualize some natives in that last pic. sitting around knapping , fish on the grill, barbecueing, a hog..I like the duck , nesting,?..nice post Glenn.

      It's bigger close up but I wasn't getting close to it. Sharp beak and long nails on them feet
